Make your character

Before you enter, you make your soul in a few short steps.

1. Name. Names are unique in the world. Your first rename in Settings is free; each one after that costs ₲1,500 and waits 30 days.
2. Form. Horse or human. Your companion is the other one. Your form is permanent once you enter.
3. Body. Humans choose a male or female body.
4. Look. A horse picks a coat, a mane and boots. A human picks a skin tone and hair. More looks drop in the wild, unlock as you level or come with things you craft. See Cosmetics.
5. Stats. Enter with a balanced spread, or choose Customize stats.

Starting stats

You have 9 points to spend across five stats, and earn 3 more every level:

• Speed: move and gather faster.
• Resistance: more health, less damage taken.
• Power: more damage.
• Wits: better crafting rolls and more critical hits.
• Stamina: a bigger pool for running and fighting, refilling faster.

There is no respec, but every death hands your spent points back, and the soul sheet keeps three saved builds. See Your five stats.

Your welcome purse

₲1,000, credited once on your first arrival. Enough for a few meals and a first bid on the Exchange.
